Faremos hoje a nossa   2ª. Atividade do 4º. Bimestre.

Esta Atividade também está no MURAL do Google CLASSROOM!!!

Vamos aprender sobre o PRESENT  CONTINUOUS.  

O  Present Continuous  é um tempo verbal formado por 2 verbos: o Presente do verbo to be = AM, IS, ARE  + verbo principal  + terminação ING.

HABILIDADE: Conhecer os usos do Present Continuous nas diferentes  situações cotidianas.

 Abaixo está a explicação da matéria.  

 

                              PRESENT   CONTINUOUS

                       (Presente  Contínuo)

 

O  PRESENT  CONTINUOUS  é um tempo verbal formado pelo  Presente  do verbo to be  =  AM / IS / ARE  +  verbo principal (que está entre parênteses)   +   terminação  ING        

Preste atenção abaixo:

Quando aparecer o Pronome  I  usamos: AM

Quando aparecer os Pronomes: HE, SHE, IT  usamos: IS

Quando aparecer os Pronomes  WE, YOU, THEY  usamos: ARE

Com substantivos no SINGULAR usamos: IS  –  Exemplo:

My father  IS working  now.   (work)    =  My father (Meu pai) é SINGULAR

Com substantivos no PLURAL usamos ARE –  Exemplo:

The girls   ARE buying  clothes.  (buy)   =  The girls (As garotas) é PLURAL

Verbos terminados em E, eliminamos este E  e acrescentamos ING:

DancE = Dancing

Verbos terminados em CVC (consoante / vogal / consoante), dobramos a última consoante e acrescentamos o ING: 

Exemplo:   PUT = Putting   /   WIN  = Winning ...

O Present Continuous  é usado p/  indicar  que  a ação está ocorrendo no presente momento, ou seja, o que as pessoas estão fazendo agora, neste exato momento.

Veja os exemplos: 

I AM watchING  TV now. (Eu estou assistINDO TV agora).  

He IS playING soccer at this moment.. (Ele está jogANDO futebol neste momento.)

They ARE buildING a house. (Eles estão construINDO uma casa.)

Advérbios usados no Present Continuous: NOW (agora),  AT THIS MOMENT  (neste momento),  AT PRESENT (no presente momento). . 

Forma  NEGATIVA  e  INTERROGATIVA

Exemplo:     She is learning English now.                  

NEG:           She is  NOT   learning  English now.                                

INT:              Is   she            learning  English now ?

Forma CONTRAÍDA: Is  not  =  isn´t   /    Are not  =  aren´t

Lembrete:

Com:   I use: AM /  Com:  HE, SHE, IT use IS /  Com:  WE, YOU, THEY use ARE COPIE o verbo que estiver entre PARÊNTESES  e acrescente  ING.
